Throughout the year, members of ​RBC have opportunities to minister both locally and abroad. We believe strongly in taking the gospel to the world and being a church focused on sharing the Good News with unreached people groups and ministering to those with physical and spiritual needs.

In the past, Russellville Baptist Church has taken trips to China and Romania.  Currently, mission trip opportunities for the future include partnerships in Boston, as well as possible international trips to Japan with International Mission Board missionaries Bryan and Whitney Jackson.
Other mission work opportunities include volunteering with local ministries such as Daily Bread, Nolachucky Baptist Association Disaster Relief, and the Pregnancy Crisis Center.

​Youth Mission Trip

Each year the Youth Ministry serves in missions in various ways.  Our youth have been to Charleston, South Carolina and New Brunswick, Georgia in recent years.  Several of the teenagers have also served in Belize with the Hearts of Christ ministry.  Our youth also participate in local missions by working with the Nolachucky Baptist Association Pregnancy Crisis Center, Daily Bread Ministry, as well as assisting Senior Adults within the church.

Belize Mission Trips

Each year, Russellville Baptist provides 2 mission trip opportunities with Hearts of Christ.  These trips consist of registering children for school, taking food to local villages, doing Vacation Bible School in the villages, as well as participating in graduation ceremonies for those who finish school through the scholarship program offered.  

The first trip this year is scheduled July 8 through July 15. see Carolyn Harville for details.
