The Women’s Ministry of Russellville Baptist Church is multi-faceted, offering ladies of all ages opportunities for mission service, in-depth Bible Study, and intimate fellowship.
Special Events also are part of the Ladies Ministry of RBC. Events such as Festival of Tables, Modesty Fashion Show, and Get Away weekends are just some of the special events that have been a part of the Ladies Ministry.
These events and groups highlight the many opportunities available through the Ladies Ministry of
Russellville Baptist.
- The Ladies Ministry organization meets once a month to discuss mission opportunities and provide mission leadership for the church. The gather around the table for fellowship and a meal while seeking God’s direction for their ministry. Once a year this aspect of the Ladies ministry sponsors an Outdoor Bonfire on a selected Wednesday evening in the Fall. Those who attend are encouraged to bring canned good items, which are then used to put together Food baskets for the needy during the holiday season. This event has been a great success in recent years.
- Our MOM’s group meets every Friday morning during the school year. This group is for ladies who desire in-depth Bible Study and personal fellowship. Though designed for women who have school-age children, it is open for all who would participate. Each week the group has discussion centered around a chosen Bible Study, as well as an intimate prayer time.
- Discipleship Classes: Throughout the year there are women’s discipleship classes offered on Sunday evenings before worship. These are generally video driven studies, with discussion among those who attend. Studies by Beth Moore, Angela Hunt, Priscilla Shirer, and others have been conducted in the past.
