Discipleship is the growth process for believers in Jesus Christ. A disciple is a learner. As a learner of Jesus Christ, there needs to be process that enables and cultivates an atmosphere of learning and growing in Christ! That is what we seek to offer at Russellville Baptist. Available intentionally geared toward spiritual growth. With intentional growth comes the desired results: Transformation! Several classes are offered to help facilitate the process of transformational discipleship. These include video driven studies on Wednesday evenings, "Motown Madness D-Now" weekend for youth, Wednesday evening devotion and bible study for college/career age as well as others. All of these seek to provide opportunities for church member, and others for transformational discipleship!
Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:00 is a time set aside for Discipleship. However, as mentioned above, other times are also designated for Discipleship. The church is seeking to also offer in-home Bible study groups which will expand the times and locations where discipleship happens.
